On Kim’s behalf, I am writing to report that the July 4 Tea Party in Eagle River, WI was an awesome success tonight! Hundreds of participants, many volunteers, petitions were signed by hundreds of attendees (Health Care Reform, Cap & Trade, Hate Crime Legislation, and other initiatives being considered in Congress at this time) , numerous speakers spoke of our freedom, founding fathers’ vision, and responsibilities to uphold our rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Pastor King spoke of taking back the land - our country. They were very moving presentations and we all thank Kim Simac for her efforts to pull this tremendous together!

Our Tea Party will speak for the moral majority of Americans who are ready to stand up to those who work towards tyranny and destruction of our democracy through the demise of our capitalistic system. Our Tea Party will speak directly to remind those in public office that their job is one of service to the people. That the majority of Americans are banding together to demand a return to the Constitutional principles that America was founded on. Less government, less taxes and the freedoms that our Fore Fathers guaranteed and so many Americans have fought and died for.

A newly formed group of concerned citizens from the Eagle River, Wisconsin area are sponsoring a July 4th Tea Party to be held at the Eagle River Snowmobile Derby Track. The event will be one of over 890 Tea Parties that are scheduled across the country for that date. The July 4th Tea Parties are being held to protest the out of control spending our government is currently engaging in with a 4 times larger deficit then just 6 months ago.
Northwoods Patriots founder Kim Simac explained the reasons and atmosphere of this local Tea Party, “Our Tea Party will be a celebration of this great nation’s birthday, a salute to our military heroes from the past, present and future. Our Tea Party will speak for the moral majority of Americans who are ready to stand up to those who are systematically undermining our Democracy both social and economic. Our Tea Party will speak directly to remind those in public office that their job is one of service to the people and not themselves. We are part of the majority of Americans who are banding together to demand a return to the constitutional principles that America was founded on. Less government, less taxes and the freedoms that our Forefathers guaranteed and so many Americans have fought and died for.”
The Tea Party will begin at 6:00pm and end with the Eagle River Fireworks. Country music star Jimmy “Jack” Whitaker will provide some of his patriotic songs from his latest CD “Thank God for the Amvets”. The Final speaking schedule is not complete at this time but confirmed speakers are Dave Ross candidate for Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor, Eagle River Mayor Jeff Hyslop, CWO-2 Donn R. Proven MSA (Ret), and patriotic speaker Kim Simac. A few surprise messages are in the works. There will be many area youth participating and speaking as we work to encourage the generation of tomorrow to become involved.
